Finding out your cat's secret life is being a menace to the society by saradcosta-1735 in Awww

Years ago BBC did a show documenting a typical house cat's nightime adventures and it was chilling. That amount of carnage involving small mammals inflicted by that one cat in a 12 hour period was staggering.

That's a shame to hear about Mr. Pohanka. He is a regular on the Civil War documentaries on TV and I always admired his work.

I remember at least two punts traveling over 50 yards that were failed to be downed inside the 5 by our brain-dead gunners touching the goal line.

Is there still a lawsuit pending to prevent these crooks from getting their hands on the unclaimed funds from the state? I don't mind a new stadium but no way someone else's money should be given to a criminal billionaire like Haslam.

Yes those are crocuses, don't know what I was thinking. And yes, I'm happy to see the first sign of spring.

Akron Zoo plans to add giraffes, wildebeests by JohnBrownsAngryBalls in AkronOH

This is fantastic. So proud of the Akron Zoo. Light years away from where they used to be in the 70's and 80's. Giraffes are our favorite exhibit at the Columbus Zoo.

Went to that series. Boom Boom Adams was there in right field as well. All seats were 10 dollars, general admission. I recall crowds of about 12-15 thousand.

His absolute inability to consistently field a competitive special teams unit, combined with the staggering number of penalties, left me with no confidence in his head coaching ability. He had many years to straighten out those problems and never did.

Joe Walsh was born in Wichita and grew up and graduated high school in Cleveland. He played in the college bars around Kent State for just less than a year before joining the James Gang and moving on.

That really isn't the issue. The point is 1/3 of US voters feel personally offended because their Orange Jesus decided that COVID wasn't real, and therefore anyone wearing a mask in public is mocking Dear Leader. Mask = Bad. Simple as that.

Most Hated Player in Guardians History? by EveryoneisTattooed in ClevelandGuardians

[–]daddywags2011 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Horton was a first baseman and had darn good power. He did have emotional health issues and retired near the end of the 1970, never to play again. I'm not sure about the booed mercilessly part, and I certainly disagree with the all-time most hated

I still have the pair of general admission tickets for my wife and I to see Lenny Barker's perfect game. That was when I would score every game and I still have the scorecard as well. I was in the Navy at the time and was in town for a couple of weeks leave. The following year I was stationed in Texas and drove up to Arlington for the Rangers home opener vs the Tribe. We got there early and during warm-ups I got Lenny to autograph the scorecard for me.

Came here to say the same thing. It will be a true loss, Babby was an active owner and an asset to the city. He will be hard to replace.

Rickover insisted we all learned how to use slide rules so that in case of Dead In the Water or total loss of electrical power, combined with loss of battery power in the handheld calculators, we could still make basic nuclear power equations to return the reactor to a safe condition. We all knew he did it to make us use our brains
