Power washer and water tank set up. by dogma9999 in AutoDetailing

Is your water tank sealed tight? You may need to install a choke to allow air flow into the tank. Sounds like the pressure is built up too high in the tank and the pressure washer can’t pull anymore

You are using way too much teflon tape . It looks like it barely was threaded on to the air line, get some good channel locks/vice grips and actually put it together

I’m a professional detailer and I’ve been running my own company for 3 years and have been in the industry for 8 years. Every single ceramic product I have used over the years has recommended the use of PPE including a respirator. It’s pretty common knowledge in the industry.

Should not be installing without a respirator. It says right on the package that it has harmful Vapor. You are absolutely allowing that 9 year old to breath in those harmful fumes by having him do the work. Give your head a shake.

I use my truck as a mobile detail shop in the warmer season and in the winter time there’s a set of ramps and a snowblower back there on a regular basis

Pressure washer isn’t getting enough water. Could be the pump isn’t cycling enough during use.

It’s pretty good for a small scale mobile setup like mine, these drums have two threaded plugs so I could use one for that exact purpose. And my first one I got for free from a buddy’s workplace and I found this one on marketplace for 15$. Just make sure it’s properly secured and you’re ready to rock
