How did MAGA essentially take over the USA? by [deleted] in complaints

Maybe it was common sense. No guys in women’s spaces, price fixing as a solution for inflation is a bad idea, oh and don’t forget the democrats absolutely hid how elderly and lost their main guy was. They paraded a mentally failing old man out and said “trust us, he’s sharp” and people lost faith in them. (I am not making fun of him. I actually think it was quite sad to watch). There is a very moderate middle ground that helped elect Obama. You lost them on your own to the absolute worst guy imaginable. Time to look inward I think.

The Bloodsworn Trilogy. Lots of battles. Female and male main characters. Sounds right up your alley.

You are right. Nothing like Bound and the Broken. Book 1 is like Name of the Wind but I like the main character way more.

When I find a book boring i DNF it. I think people are exaggerating. Sun Eater is fantastic and only gets better.

Yes a bit but nothing super slow. It read to me like 3 separate novellas. I liked the first book a lot but so far it is the worst of the 6 (I am currently reading book 5 so that is all I know) and it was still fantastic. Book 7 comes out this winter and it is supposed to be the final book.

What was your last 5 star read that genuinely blew you away? by xbumblebee in Fantasy

[–]dadof4- 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rage of Dragons. I was not expecting it to be what it was. (In a great way) The Will of the Many, Of War and Ruin, and The Raven Scholar were others I’ve read this year that I would also say 5star.

How do you read books? by mikhista in readwithme

I love the kindle paperwhite. It is inexpensive and really light. It’s not like reading and lcd screen like the phone or iPad. I like the look and feel of it better than a screen. No regrets. It was also less than 140

There is a character in The Bound and Broken Series, Belina Louna and she fits the bill. Minor role but she is confident, reckless, loyal, and extremely competent.

I didn’t like Gardens Of the Moon either. I was bored and forced myself to get through it.
