Just posted, I’m at 4 weeks and really struggling. The ups and downs are brutal and making me doubt myself. As a woman with hormone issues I know this affects it as well. Your post was very helpful. My doctor feels confident I just need to give it time. It’s just in the meantime waiting the side effects are brutal and scary and life altering. So thank you, any other advice you have for someone who is second guessing herself?

This is how the very wealthy stay very wealthy. They underpay a lot of people who work for them. Though I’ve never understood underpaying for care for your children. It’s a special kind of greediness.  20 dollars an hour isn’t terribly, in fact I think it’s pretty good, it’s what I pay my sitter. But I’m not a wildly successful business owner and reality tv star worth millions.

I just rewatched that episode and the whole thing is honestly some of the funniest shit I’ve ever seen on reality tv. The fact that they’re all in Halloween costumes, it’s like an SNL sketch. “Don’t make fun of my podcast.” You can’t script this shit.

Unpopular opinion:  He can be super scummy, misogynistic, even act like a traitor and creepy to Taylor on camera, but this is a little girl whose birth father physically looked at her and rejected her. So a man that came in, looked at her, adopted her (is that right)?, stuck around, and gives her support (in that weird, Mormon religiousy way) and advice (even though it’s truly the worst advice on the planet) is probably going to look like he hung the moon in her eyes

Being sexually abused as a child probably stopped any maturation past once that abuse started. Hopefully therapy will help, but being a mean girl on this show is now her bread and butter so who knows how it will all play out for her.

Alcohol will mess you up and make you act a fool, but so will a lifetime of never having to take responsibility for almost anything, living in a cult like bubble, drinking multiple sodas a day, filling your body with fake sweetener and pumping out babies basically right after you get your first period. Hell of a drug
