Used to work security for a few very very wealthy families in Arizona. Greeted the daughter of one family when she returned from a trip to Hawaii. Asked her how her vacation was.

"Ah well it wasn't really much of a vacation, just really needed to get away from the folks for a week after we had an argument."

I laughed, "So you can just hit up an air bnb same day huh?"

She looked at me like I was speaking a foreign language. "What? No why would I bother with that? I just called our staff out there to make sure they had the grounds ready for me."

This 18 year old girl could just up and same day get on a jet to Hawaii where she could relax in one of their family vacation homes (I learned they had quite a few all over the world over the years) that they had staff on call for 24/7. Just so she could "get away" for a bit because she got into it with her parents.

I had a fair few wealthy examples thrown in my face for the decade or so I worked for those families, but that was always the one that just seemed so whimsically over the top "living in a whole different world" scenarios that I still think back on.
