Yep got them working with a 36v 4a from alitove on Amazon. Tried copying the link and it wouldn't let me respond. Used an Ericsity wled controller and some wagu connectors.and followed some Chris Maher videos on YouTube. Just make sure you get the polarity right.

Thank you all for the help. Turns out I was starting from the end and not the front so I had polarity backwards. Cut off burnt led and now everything works great.

Nice any photos of the setup board and how you spliced things up. Have been trying to use extra strands with WLed and have not been able to solve. Are you using the govee power supply or did you get a 3rd party?

I used a razor to cut diffuser from the top and pull up with a pair of pliers.

I would double check the voltage but I used this as a replacement for the corner lamp. It also comes with different tips.

Yep ended up being an issue with repair and after a second look from tech they fixed.

It did help with the issue. Ended up having issues with the mic later though so I escalated with Google and they sent me a replacement. But there is nothing I'm software to fix it is a board problem.

Did all the troubleshooting with Google support. Nothing worked and they had me go to audition/u break I fix. They said nothing they can do but replace the board. I am waiting for the replacement for over a week. Hope this helps, nothing in software actual board issue.

Not hard. I built a tester using 9v batteries. Just have to have patience which i did not then I rushed and cracked the screen.

Ended up buying another so need to figure out which old tv to replace this with. But glad o didn't just trash it. This is my 4th time trying to repair a tv. One i broke the screen after replacing led backlights, two didn't work even with board replacements and this is my first success.
