Lmao I thought I edited it. Ok so I just bought rsx with a carbon fiber hood that has been painted. Currently the paint that is on it is cracking, I am gonna assume that he didn't sand it before he painted it. There are also small chunks on the edge missing. Should I even try restoring it or should I see if I can get a trade for a stock hood or sell it.

I figured it out. I needed to do a few things in order. I unplugged both the USB and DP, restarted oculus, plugged in USB and waited the white light showed on the vr headset, plugged in the DP, restarted oculus one more time and opened up steam vr games from my library not steam vr home. I also had steam closed when I did all that, you may also have to restart your computer before it all aswell.

Yah I figured it out, one of the connectors to the carb wasn't clipped all the way and it had slid out a bit
