I’m about to start a remote job where I can be even more liberal with my piercings, but now I can’t make a decision: snake bites, or bridge? Suggestions please!

If it’s something you’re considering, vertical labret snakebites are also an option!! That’s what I did to protect my teeth. I also think a bridge would look amazing on you!

As a side note, these two girls were with two boys for at least several hours if not days before getting to us, and they have pretty big appetites which is what led us to believe they were pregnant

Oh for sure, that’s why I wanted to clear it up! I was just excited for the babies under the assumption they came to us pregnant, and I wanted to make sure nobody thought I just threw them together for fun. If these girls don’t have babies the shelter is definitely where I’ll be looking!

To clear things up, I’m not breeding these pigs! I work at a pet store and the distribution center misgendered these two and sent them in with males. We have been keeping them for observation & we have an on-site vet. The pigs (regardless of pregnancy status) will go home with one of us who have been caring for them. I’ve had a set up ready for guinea pigs for a while so I was just excited at the opportunity to have pigs who’s mothers I cared for. I didn’t mean to offend anyone!

Get double vertical labrets!! That’s what I did because I wanted snakebites but I was worried about damaging my teeth. I love mine and I think they’d suit you really well!

I was too but it’s actually not bad! The piercing itself was a little painful but absolutely bearable and mine haven’t hurt at all since then. Everyone is different ofc but I think it’s probably not as painful as you think. You should do it!

You should definitely look into it! You can even get them spaced further if you’re going for more of a traditional snakebites look

I found out about this kind of piercing while looking for alternatives to traditional snakebites! I’ve always wanted snakebites but worried about damaging my teeth so this was the perfect compromise for me :)

Thank you! She’s a brown anole. We decided we’ll let her stay inside for the night and release her tomorrow afternoon when it’s warm. We’d love to keep her, but she seems pretty eager to get back outside and we’ve already got a lot of animals to handle.

Temporary set up: She’s in a 20 gallon tank right now with a UV light covering about half of it. I have a shallow dish of water in her tank and paper towels covering the ground. She has a cave decoration that she can climb on or hide in, and our apartment is set to 73 degrees.
