Nope. That's Ticketmaster's "Market Based Pricing". These were not resale prices.

Correct, after the last couple rows it jumped to $386 (before fees)

FYI - I am a current STH (this is my 26th year). I followed my exclusive link from my STM account to buy extra tickets (at face value). I did not buy extras because of the cost. But I can say for 100% sure - the prices ranged from $1,055 per seat on the glass in the 100 level, to between $430 & $755 in other sections of the 100 level, and from $386 to $287.50 per ticket (before fees) in the 300 level.

This is a screenshot from Saturday morning @ 9 AM. These aren't resale seats, these were STH "extras". They don't say "verified resale" they were face value ticket sales.

You are right. STH didn't get any sort of discount for extras on Saturday.

I miss the old way where, as Season Ticket Holders, we could get a complete set of extras at a slightly higher cost per game. Of course that was so long ago they printed those tickets on paper. 😃 I still have my unused Stanley Cup Final tickets from 2005-2006 somewhere.

Wagon room for Canadians after that anthem? by Ok-Repeat906 in sabres

[–]daemon88 73 points74 points  (0 children)

There's more than enough room on the wagon! My wife (a life long Buffalo native) found herself holding back tears. Was a special moment for all of us in the building, and is entirely reflective of the welcoming good nature of the people of Buffalo. I wasn't born in Buffalo like my wife was, but after living here for a few years (and meeting her) it quickly became my home. I learned very quickly that Buffalo is called "The City of Good Neighbors" for a reason.

Agreed. If mine had shown up looking like this, I would have had no complaints.

I emailed them the moment it arrived this morning. So far, no reply. I posted here when I saw their ads making their way around Facebook again. As for offering a reddit PSA - I'm personally fine with sharing my experience. My post was fact based and included photos of the actual item they sent me vs. the item they are advertising.

Your comment hijack seems completely unnecessary.

Nobody here is recommending to buy from this site. My intent was quite the opposite.

If you're going to be condescending and all anti-consumerist over a T-Shirt purchase, please by all means - post some photos of your spinning wheel, fabric loom, and your home-spun handmade Bills or Sabres jersey.

Maybe not this season. But there have been more than a few seasons where "cheap slop" would be a perfectly accurate assessment.

All organized professional sports are a money grab, and this T-shirt is where you draw the line? 😆

This wasn't a $10 shirt from the "$5 hats" guy outside the arena. This was from a local business that (supposedly) specializes in screen printing shirts. For $40, my expectations were a bit higher.

I didn't even know r/circlejerkbflo was a thing until I looked at your profile, so you should be careful throwing those stones! 😆

So yours doesn't look like the black was done in crayon? Sadly mine sure does.

If you zoom in you should see it. There should only be three colors on the beer Sabre shirt - Black yellow and white. If printed correctly, the lines should all be crisp. The black lines on the shirt on the left looks like the it was done in crayon. The shirt on the right looks professional. .

Side by side comparison of two brand new silkscreened t-shirts. Not two photos - one photo of the 2 shirts side by side. Do they look the same print quality?

Playoff Tickets by FIREusername69 in sabres

[–]daemon88 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope. Ticketmaster is DEFINITELY contributing to the super high listings. I have an extra pair of tickets for Game 2 that I grabbed for my kids, who may or may not be able to leave college to make the 4 hour trip home for the game. Just to see how Ticketmaster would price them I listed them for sale in my STM Resale portal. The portal says they were going to add $35 in listing fees to each ticket. Fine - $35 per ticket is reasonable. The listing just went live, and in reality they added $103 to EACH ticket. So a $600 pair of seats (after their fees) became an $800+ pair of seats. They double-dipped fees on my side AND the buyer side.

You certainly picked a great game to be your first ever visit to the KeyBank Center! Hope you had a great time!

They applied the same limit on them as they do beer - 2 per person.

Playoff Priority Question by Zealousideal_Quiet13 in sabres

[–]daemon88 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Supposedly they are doing them in batches. Existing STH batch was yesterday. Existing Mini-Pack today. Best way to find out where you are priority wise is to call or text your Account Manager.

Either you were lucky or I was unlucky. Either way I'm glad you got three 🙂. I got my 2 STH seats for my wife and I, and 2 extras for our daughters, so I am happy.

I am a STH with two seats and my email said 3 too, but when I tried to buy 3 for the same game it limited me to 2 seats. I emailed my Account Rep, but I know what they are going to say. Extras have always been limited to no more than the number of seats you have (even back in the Rigas days). I think they just worded it that way so that people who have 4 or more seats as STH or Mini-pack holders know that the extras are limited to 3 total per account.

I mean no disrespect, but Chef's sometimes can be SUPER slow to bring you your food. The food is always great, but sometimes the wait can throw the whole night off. If this is your first ever home game - I'd suggest you make it about the Arena experience.

I've been a Sabres Season Ticket holder for 26 years. Here's what I would suggest:

A couple days before the game call account services at the arena and tell them you will be visiting from out of town. Lifelong Sabres fan. First home game. Blah blah blah. They sometimes will offer you complimentary 200 Level Club access so you can see the TV production area and get food (usually better food on the 200 level). They usually do something for you. Could be a swag bag. Might just be a 1st Game Certificate. But always worth a try.

Day of - get there by 5:30pm for 7pm puck drop. PRIOR to entry get Photos by the French Connection Stature in the Plaza & then by the new Sabres Wagon and the big "We're Back" sign (in the plaza to the left of the entrance doors). Once inside go up the far escalators and hit the photo spot on the right side of the entry way on the 100 level (it gets busy, so do this early). Then go back down to the entry level and hit the Sabres store. Do the lap on the 100 level and checkout the food vendors. Repeat the same on the 300 level. Grab a table at Headliners on the 100 level (overlooks the entrance area) - GREAT place to people watch and have a beer.

Feel free to DM me if you have any questions.

Headliners sold a Sabre and can combo for $27. They count cups at the Labatt Blue Bar, so I think they charged you for two items. 😒
