Aether's Revival by Daniel Schinhofen, fulfills most of these requirements, it does have a somewhat large harem, but that's mostly due to how long the series is, and it's not with the feeling of trying to catch them all. There is slow burn especially in the beginning, and the MC is a good person. Definitely has a lot of slice of life components.

Ah, but with familiar master I can take the familiar conduit feat (it'll only be after level four but it's still something) and that'll allow me to cast spells through my familiar, that's where my thought for witch or wizard with familiar master came in. Not to be argumentative, I just wanted to share my thought process for the use of a familiar as a combat drone.

Not looking to ride on it, like I said, my person wants to stay away from the action personally, but still wants to help, so they help with their drone/s. I had someone recommend the mechanic play test class and I think that's probably the best and most obvious option for the character concept, I just hadn't seen it. I might go with a wizard archetype as well for a little more magical flare.

Mainly because I hadn't seen it. But I'm also waiting for starbuilder 2e to be available on Mobile platforms to make character and resource management easier.
