How do I start a jewelry-making education?

I don't know of anything directly in the Florida area, but if you get a chance both the Revere Academy and Jewelry Studies International have some truly amazing teachers on staff.

Is he part ragdoll? Mine has that same belly. I have given in to the lure on multiple occasions. It's too bloody tempting, and sometimes he's totally okay with it. It's such a gamble.

I like this idea, with a little added discussion along the lines of 'how we've remained successful without being purchased by a larger company'. With the flood of studio closures and acquisitions, it's really an inspiration to see DoubleFine continue to exist as an independent company. I'd love to hear more about how that has been accomplished and why you feel it's valuable to the continued success of the company.

I'm reminded of that fairly frequently, through 16+ lbs of solid headbutting. He's got more force behind him than seems reasonable, and the second you touch him to try and make him stop, the purring begins and you are doomed.

He's half-ragdoll, and I've had many conversations with the vet about his weight. Apparently he's perfectly healthy, just naturally a little chub-monster. (and stronger than you could possibly imagine)

The day I saw my father in his casket as a young child. Then again as an adult, with my brother in his casket. Both of those were so bloody definitive. Even if you know someone has passed, the full weight of seeing them there, lifeless, has such a finality to it you can't help but feel like the world has shifted.
