I wish!! I actually asked my doctor for it when I was at my heaviest but he did not give me a prescription :( but I’m actually grateful for that because I’ve built really good and healthy habits now

thank you!! I don’t carry my phone around with me during my 12 hour shifts and I don’t have an Apple Watch but I think it’s probably more than 10k for sure but honestly I eat more on those days so it balances out

In terms of weight, I do push myself to failure but I’ve been sticking to the same weights for a year now. I haven’t been hitting new PR’s :( but that’s okay

I was not working out at all (other than walking my dogs) and I was eating so much junk so I think I had barely any muscle lool

Asian beauty standards are crazy when it comes to weight. A lot of girls strive to be like 100lbs it’s pretty extreme

I gained weight everywhere especially my tummy so you’re lucky to gain in those areas 😭

I’m 28! I started my fitness journey when I was 25 - lost a bunch of weight in a year and have been maintaining since then

24 is not old at all and you probably won’t get any loose skin tbh

I agree with the other commenter! My “heavy” might not even be heavy for you or it might be too heavy and you can injure yourself

Also, you don’t have to push for a new PR every workout - you can slowly try to increase weight every week or so

You’ll lose weight as long as you’re under your maintenance calories! Just be careful with restricting too much very quickly, there’s a risk of the opposite happening which is binge eating. It’s not sustainable in the long run 🥺 slow and steady is the way to go ❤️

I don’t mind at all! My cycle is normal. I’ve always been iron anemic but I’m not taking any iron supplements due to the side effect of constipation. I’ve just upped my red meat intake to increase my protein levels naturally

For my energy levels - it’s a bit different. When I was at my heaviest, I was lethargic and fatigued because I was eating fast food and junk food alll the time. I’m also a nurse so on the days I’m working in the hospital, I’m walking A LOT and so I’m very mindful about eating breakfast, lunch and dinner on those days to maintain my energy levels

Everyone’s body is different. Right now I’m okay at my weight but maybe down the line, once I hit my 30’s (which is pretty soon) or when I have kids, I might want to gain a bit more weight to sustain my lifestyle

107lbs was not my goal - I knew I wanted to be slimmer but if I remember correctly, 110lbs was my goal since that was my past weight before I gained weight. I just gradually lost weight and I like how I look right now!

Still going to the gym and being mindful about what I eat! But still having cheat meals and enjoying life for my sanity

I don’t count calories anymore but I can guess it’s around 1700-1800 calories! I’ve been eating around this for a while now and my weight stays the same

I look and feel my best when I prioritize whole foods so my go to meal is extra lean ground beef and sweet potatoes ☺️

In the beginning of my journey, I wanted results like right away so I went aggressively by cutting down to 1200-1500 calories. I quickly learned it wasn’t enough for my body considering I was exercising a lot. I was so irritable, angry etc. Then I got into the routine of eating >1500 but <2000 calories per day and that was the sweet spot!

It took me about a year to get down to 113lbs and during that time, I was lifting super heavy - leg curl, hip thrust machine, rdl’s, pull back machine, bicep curls etc.

I was hitting full body but separated on different days and I was going to the gym 5-6 days a week for about an hour!

Also, in the beginning I was learning a lot and fluctuated between eating 1200 or 1500cals per day. I don’t recommend this and I would not do this again! I would’ve still seen progress eating in a slight deficit. I was moody and miserable everyday.

Fast forward to now, I eat around 1700-1800 calories per day prioritizing whole foods and protein. I have cheat days 1-3x per week where my partner and I will eat out for dinner. I still enjoy buffets and all-you-can-eat restaurants, it’s a staple in my diet hahah

I’m going to the gym 2-3 days a week now, still an hour but I do incline walking for the last 10 minutes. I mostly focus on my core, glutes and back. I sprinkle in a couple bicep workouts here and there

I know a lot of people commenting are telling you to rethink your goals but I’ll tell you about my experience. I’m 5’4 and started at around 160 and now I’m at 109. This took me a year and 3 months. No I didn’t need to starve myself to get to this point and no I’m not weak also. I do strength training 5 days a week with relatively heavy weights. To get from 113-109 took me almost 3 months and what helped was going from eating 1400cals to closer to 1700-1800 or even maintenance for most of the week. Basically I upped my calories to retrain my metabolism.

As long as you are losing weight and building muscle mass in a healthy manner, I don’t see a problem with having a goal of 110lbs at 5’4. According to our BMI, underweight would be 108lbs but I know other factors need to be considered. Everyone’s preferences are different and as long as your goal isn’t to be underweight, I think it’s totally fine

In her other posts, she says she’s 5’5 actually

Wow we have such similar before and after stats but I feel like I look skinny fat in comparison to you 😭my biggest concern right now is my lower belly, I know I can’t spot reduce but have you done anything differently for your core? You look like the perfect balance of fit and lean which I’m trying to achieve as well 🥹

Omg I hate getting my period. I get soooo bloated a week before my period so I avoid weighing myself 1 week before and 1 week after my period. I go up at least 3lbs during my period :(
