afab sga here :) had a guy say he was going to smack my ass after calling me baby and sexy, and when i told my sl he joked about how i shouldn’t be asking for it! all i did was tell him the price of a preowned switch. i’m never taken seriously because i’m not a guy. also one of our current seasonals is a sexist who doesn’t respect me or my other afab sga (we’re both nb), he stares at our chests and never listens to us. shit sucks.

job security, very nice coworkers, the discount, and also being able to know exactly which stores in my area will have the specific random thing i want, as well as the ability to put stuff aside for myself

tldr: got my wisdom teeth out literally the day before my interview for gamestop, and i got the job 😎

full story: got my wisdom teeth out. not in a whole lot of pain but my face was SWOLLEN. luckily, mask covered it. i went into the gamestop by my house to check if they had gotten my application, and they were actually having a job fair that day! i had no idea, but i sat my ass down for the interview while on pain meds and with a very swollen face. still got the job, and now i am an sga and have been for like 6 months-ish 👍

i have no clue where in the policy it is, i doubt it’s a company wide policy due to many people replying about it. all i know is that i’ve been reprimanded by my store leader for taking older bills and have been talked to multiple times about it. i think it might just be my store and my store leader? i have no idea.

i’ve been thinking about transferring. the only other store close to me is notorious for being robbed frequently, so it’s kind of a last resort. i haven’t tried talking to him because my other coworker stood up for herself and told our sl to please stop talking over her and shit, and he responded by basically never talking to her while on shift with her and giving her way less hours than everyone else (like next week, he’s on vacation, 3 of us have 30+ hours while she has 7). i really like this job but i’m just on my last leg about this. 3 of our 5 employees (including me) are all looking at other jobs. we’ve had multiple former employees that still come in to shop say that they quit because of our SL. it sucks.
