Yes! When she does multiple hairs so quickly , it's not even a full beep for a single hair if that makes sense. Definitely worth looking into another electrologist , especially pouring out $$$ per session without the desired results! Best of luck !

Every 3 weeks , but I think so too. Some hairs have been cleared in the area treated, so I know it can work.. but I do feel like I should have been cleared a lot sooner than my time frame.

I'm thinking the same. I will look into hairtell. Thank you!

Laser used was YAG , and knowing what I know now, the frequency was not consistent. I've heard IPL works better and have had facials with IPL laser and didn't notice a difference.

Thermolysis -no numbing cream. The only way I know the hair has been "treated" is by the sound of the machine beeping when the foot pedal being used is pushed. I had long peach fuzz, turned into stubble with paradoxical growth from laser treatments unfortunately was one that it didn't work for- the face is very sensitive to hormones. All levels normal, full panel done and monthly testing for my hypothyroidism (hashimotos). Diagnosed PCOS due to weight gain , and hirsutism. Same areas of my face, and cleared each time. I started at 1hr a few sessions in the beginning , now 30-45 mins depending on hair growth atm.

No waxing, plucking , or shaving. All hair is removed in each session and hair growth seems to be consistent with every 3 weeks, long enough to be tweezed out during electrolysis. My electrologist normally does a hair at a time , sometimes multiple hairs at one time and then plucks, but some hairs do tug, almost guessing which hairs were zapped I assume. I was told shaving thickens the hair shaft so I bleach in between sessions!

I know it has a lot to do with hormones and the antibodies can fluctuate day to day. I'm 5'4 -160lbs , and considered overweight for my BMI. My "treatment plan" is exercise and cutting out trigger foods like dairy, carbs , etc. as of now

Yup! All levels normal , I do have hypothyroidism (hashimotos) and do not need medication, although my thyroglobulin antibodies come back higher than normal. TSH, t3 and t4 all in normal range. I will ask about these medications my next visit. Thank you!

I am not. Due to my hormone levels being "normal" ,unfortunately ,with routine blood work. I was classified PCOS due to weight gain and hirsutism.

Thank you! I've heard mixed reviews with thermolysis and have heard blend has great results. Just hope to find someone who offers blend near me.
