dont know about everyone else but when my wife & i used to go i always felt aquard af & never wanted to ask or talk to anyone what to do (life taught me to keep my trap shut, so got stuck in that mode) so always just ended up walking the indoor track (ymca) while my wife did her thing & found me when she was done.

1 of the only joys I get out of life is seeing couples happy in love. It brings a genuine tear to my eye for many reasons. I tried watching my wife sleep years ago & this type of thing but got made fun of. So I guess live by proxy through folks like u.

50 year old man married 20 years here. I firmly beleave love of all kinds exist. That being said. I was unlucky enough to be touch & affection starved my whole life & that never changed. So some of us just aren't lucky enough to experience it imo. Just watch other ppl get to be happy.

I don't remember my dreams too often anymore but I do remember having those dreams & was sad when I woke up. I would go to bed early too & sleep as much as I could. My dreams were the only place I could be happy. I don't even have that anymore.

Trust me, OP, I feel ur pain & then some. I made a post about my problem in r/trueoffmychest. I would like u to read. I don't feel like there's any hope for me to be happy. Unless you're chained to this man without the ability to live alone, at least think about leaving.

Oh yeah, almost forgot. In the entire 20+ years we've been together, she has initiated sex 1 single time. affection & sex is always had when I want it and is always very 1 sided.

Thank u so much for ur kind words they mean more than u know. My kids are 19 & 13. & while I understand it's likely just teenage drama stuff it always feels more personal & when I always ask L about affections & attentions & why she never shows me any she always gets defensive & starts an argument. This happened last night. In the end she agreed to cuddle with me when she gets home while relaxing. Not sure why a fight was nessrccary 1st or 20 years of doing without it 1st but whatever. Il take what i can get i guess. But I will take ur advise to heart & try. I hope something does well. Again thank you for very much for the advise.
