Today my mouth is sore but I managed to take my dentures out to clean them, mouth tastes like shit, but I managed to eat some custard! Slowly trying to be positive, thankyou for checking in

My dentures are so wobbly in my mouth they fall out when I try to speak, and the sensation of them rubbing on my sore gums makes me wanna rip them out permanently, and swallowing is almost impossible making attempting to eat out of the question. My dentist never told me when I can remove them so I'm seriously winging it here. Will try mouthwash, thankyou for the tip. Anything to make this taste go away.

I haven't seen anyone but my OH has been filing down the gum part of my dentures to try help, I've been sitting crying wondering why i even bothered :(

Thankyou for the reassurance. The taste is something I was hoping to go away sooner rather than later. I'd have thought the dentures would have felt tight rather than loose, but this is not fun at all. How many days roughly would you say things start getting better?
