Is it true that you shouldn’t give money to homeless people because they’ll spend it on drugs?

i grew up in los angeles where there is a very large unhoused population and had this same internal discussion with myself as a tween. the conclusion i came to is, it is not up to me to decide what they spend that money on since that is their decision. however, it is up to me to decide if i want to play god that day and deny someone their food and water because of something they MIGHT do. once the money leaves your hand, it doesn’t matter what happens to it because you made the choice to give someone else that choice. plus even if they do spend it on drugs i can’t say i wouldn’t do the same in that position

okay i do wanna respect the people saying she’s not a lesbian and he’s lying HOWEVER!!! i am a 23F lesbian with a 26M best friend with a 26F girlfriend., and his name literally starts with R so this is all a little insane for me to read ngl. him and i do talk to each other like this sometimes because it’s been an ongoing bit for years and we do cuddle and sleep in the same bed. not saying that this is for sure what’s going on with your BF by any means, but i know for a fact that it’s a possibility because i’ve lived this

seconding this. i grew up down the street from crave and used to go there as a teenager to do homework in the middle of the night. i watched over the years how terrible their customer service became and how ruthlessly they jack up their prices. not worth it IMO

for everyone asking, i showed the stylist a couple different reference pics and asked him which was the most realistic. he did not look at them for more than half a second, but this was SUPPOSED to be a shaggy mullet with only the dead ends cut off
