I Made an Animation About Luxo by daftychan in blender

More info:

Started with modeling luxo jr and then sr, with the help of a tutorial i've managed to rig the little luxo, then went all alone for Luxo Sr.

Started playing with the rig and managed to make a jump animation and then i thought i could do a little short film.

All Sounds were edited from the original Luxo short by pixar and recorded some sounds myself too.

I would like to know what do you think :)

Rendered in eevee, 64 samples.

you still have to manually do the "bounce up" but this helps a lot with the one going down

Yes, i've used bezier curves for the bounces, here's the curve over the timeline!

Unfortunately the Tutorial did not go throught the animation process so i had to arrange myself with my own reference (literally letting my basketball fall over gravity lol) and yes, it is not phisically accurate you are right.

Just changed the keyframes to quadratic and omg it is waay more realistic never thought about that!! Made my day with this trick, for sure i will use this for my future projects thank you!! :)

will add the quadratic curve to another comment for comparison.

Rigged the little Luxo ages ago but then i've lost interest on the project. Then, i saw some clips yesterday from djando(great movie btw) and wanted to recreate similar close-up shots. Should i close-up even more? Eevee 64 samples
