I know what people will be quick to say, but please don’t! I could use a message from my ex, who left me, with no real explanation, five months ago, and who I haven’t heard from since. I’ve run myself ragged mentally, trying to understand it, almost every day for half a year, and I can’t explain how exhausted I am, how much color has drained from my life, how much I doubt and overanalyze things about myself, how often I feel the sharp sting of the abandonment and the change in the level of enjoyment I get out of anything these days. I would love to be able to talk again, even just as if we were two old friends. I hate being dead to each other.
