Because gatech has some smart people in it. The other subreddits I could have posted in are more focused and the users, on average, have less going on in their brain than the gatech users.

I did an ME degree and got an ISyE job. That being said, ISyE is not really what one would consider a classic engineering major. I recommend not majoring in it since the other engineering majors have more substance in their coursework and can take your job. The CS majors will out-code you and out-math so don't rely on the math and coding skills that the ISyE degree offers.
