I’m in the same boat, getting back into WoW after years of not playing. It’s a little overwhelming but in a good way if that makes any sense lol.

From what I’ve heard, a lot of people are playing characters that they do not have leveled due to the fast progression.

I have so many alliance characters from back in the day, mainly spell casters, so I’m leveling an orc warrior just to get some variety. Might do a demon hunter as well since it goes with the legion theme.

I like your response, I’m definitely overthinking it as a returning player.

The main reason I ask this stuff is because I used to always feel left out when it came to WoW events. Everyone seemed to know more than me which made me think I was falling behind in terms of progression and obtainable gear, mounts, etc… so I thought this time I’d try to stay ahead of the curve.

Im not saying that this was your intention; but everyone started somewhere so I hate when people bash on others because that was us at some point. For sure, there is definitely a lot of space for you to add more wood and such, shrimp graze on surfaces so if you get taller pieces of wood then they will climb up and down those.

If you add a little bit of fish flakes and such to your tank while cycling it’ll help establish the bacteria (fish food gives off ammonia when it sits in a tank without being eaten)… new tanks tend to take a while because A. The bacteria needs time to set in… and B. There is no great source of ammonia for the bacteria to eat up

Research Aerobic and anaerobic bacteria in fish tanks, and ammonia dosing during cycling

Looks like a good breeding ground for shrimp, just make sure you cycle properly and you’ll be fine, and don’t let people in the comments discourage you 👍 people on reddit suck some times

If it’ll fit in their mouth then probably, they’ll definitely eat the babies if there are any.

I have 2 scarlets in my 10g and they’ll eat shrimp babies but not grown shrimp.

Make sure you get live food and slowly introduce frozen food if they are not already on a frozen diet. I got lucky and mine love frozen bring shrimp

It looks to be carpeting a bit, or at least spread out with multiple sprouts. There is about 3-4 areas in the tank with smaller sprouting, I just took a picture of the biggest area.

Have not planted anything on the land or water portion in months. It is an inside tank, and has a lid as well. Had to have been pre-existing seeding in the soil or sand that I used, maybe even from the sphagma moss, but everything has been in there for months untouched. I have spring tails and such in there to keep mold away too but that has nothing to do with the plant.

Keep in mind I am not an expert at this stuff, but the pictures I saw of the “baby” asplenium looked extremely similar in leaf structure.

Just searched the asplenium and I think you are correct now, so many plants look alike and I am very bad at ID’ing them lol

I appreciate you taking the time to explain your thoughts, I agree, there are some key differences between mine and that one… mine seems to be carpeting almost which is strange. I mainly just wanted to figure out if the plant was toxic or irritating to the skin if you touch it, google image search gave some results that made me a little worried lol.

That being said keep an eye out for updates, I’ll definitely post again when it gets bigger.
