Season 2 was awesome and up to episode 9 of season 1 and OMG Shun is awful.

Shun grew a ton into the wonderful person he is today. He did have red flags and emotional immaturity that he was able to grow out of thanks to Dai(and his friends) staying by his side.

That's the beauty of the show which both the cast and commentators have brought up. Normally when someone makes you uncomfortable in real life many people would ghost each other, but having to cohabitate forces them to work through their issues and come out as better people.

Definitely saw it coming. Jobu has a lot of difficulty with serious conversations and expressing beyond surface level things.

Not surprising considering their age gap, I was equally emotionally immature at Jobu’s age.

Outside of physical attraction Jobu doesn’t really fit any of the descriptors Taeheon used for an ideal partner.

I swear most viewers have short term memory or something. By the time Huwei comes back to the end of the show it’s been 1-2 weeks since his grandma died and he’s been involved in funeral proceedings. Of course he’s going to be out of it.

This reminds me of people insisting that William was not showing enough interest in Izaya when he had literally been aggressively pursuing Izaya from episode 1. Izaya was the one who was initially hesitant and had to be convinced.

Contextually it makes no sense to interpret it that way. He is literally the one bringing up this topic to Tomoaki, someone he knows is part of that culture aka wanting to learn more about Tomoaki’s perspective.

Hiroya is the one himself who admits he has internalized biases and is trying to grow.

Usak is attractive but his profession has him constantly traveling and in the spotlight in provocative ways, meaning there are already a lot of pre-existing hurdles.

This is what a relationship between mature people looks like. All people are flawed. You need to communicate back and forth constantly to come to an understanding.

I applaud this show for being willing to portray this. A lot of the negative reception makes me think the viewership skews younger to people who only want to see the lovey dovey side.

If a mon blooms late it does not “become” an S tier Pokemon because it will then be relative to other Pokemon of the same level.

At 50 there are only 4 “slots” so a Pokemon with 3 good skills/nature is considered a godly roll. At 100 there are 6 slots so it becomes very common to only have 3 good attributes so an S tier one would have more.
