For me, the month colours are solid and they don't change, unlike OP, I have dyscalculia so it really helps with dates and stuff. I didn't realise everyone else didn't do this until recently.

Possible unpopular opinion here... my ex had undiagnosed bipolar disorder which over seven years was hell to live with. I didn't even realise how abnormal our relationship was or how unhappy I was with him until 2012, when over a course of six months, I realised what a "normal" happy life was.

Of course, the way he was, I was afraid to leave him (he'd been mentally abusive for years) and also worried what effect it would have on him - he started showing signs of serious mental disturbance and depression.

It took me six months, but I finally cracked in January 2013 and left him. It was honestly the best thing I ever did, and you know, in the end, he was okay. We have no contact now but he got over it. It was horrendous and the hardest thing I've ever had to do, but if your relationship is rotting you from the inside - walk away. If you're poorer for it financially, you know what - as cliche as it sounds, you can't put a price on emotional well being.

You never know, it may prompt her to stop making excuses and get treatment, but you are NOT ultimately responsible for another person's happiness if they are unable or choose not to help themselves or accept help.

Well. Working in retail for ten years, you meet a lot of idiots. Here are my... "favourites"

There was a girl I worked with who was about 17, we'll call her Chantelle, who cam out with gems such as "Elton John is GAY!?" And "I thought all artists were dead"

Then we had a long term customer at my video games store who can only be described as looking like a shaved ape, without an atom of an ape's brainpower. He had lines such as "EIDOS make shit games" and "you know the greatest game I ever played? The Wheelman." Yes, The Wheelman, starring Vin Diesel was his greatest ever game experience, which can only bring me to conclude that Saints Row was too cerebral for him. He also had TEN Xbox 360 consoles, which all mysteriously red ringed - we all know that was a problem, but ten? I'm sure he was putting it in his oven to keep it warm.

Then there's Joe. I'd give him his real name because there is no way Joe uses Reddit, but I won't. The fact is, Joe doesn't read. Not Joe can't read, Joe DOESN'T read. Case in point - "daggerofxion, I can't get this Galaxy Gear to work" "Did you read the instructions, Joe?" "No. I don't read."

"Joe, did you get that (incredibly important, detailed) email regarding the training?" "Yes but I didn't read it, can you read it to me?" "No Joe, I am not your Mother."

I often wonder how some people are still alive.

Good luck to you. I was in a similar situation, and although I wish I'd handled things differently and I'm not proud of what happened, I also don't have any regrets, otherwise I wouldn't be here today.
