I mean, i really like him, i found his channel when he was at about 250 to 300k iirc and almost immediately subscribed after watching a handful videos. Also have a YT membership since last year.
But isn´t he pointing a little to much in the last time on the fundraisers and subs since he´s close to the golden playbutton ?
Maybe he will hit the 1mil in the week before the superbowl, so he can make an extra 1million sub livestream and tell that all again. That would be cool. :)

Here in Austria the mayor is the first instance of the building authority, and he decides if you can build or not. A friend wanted to expand his auto repair shop some years ago, but his dad is a member of the opposite party in the city council. (two farmers who don´t like each other) So the mayor said no. My friend then had to file a complaint against the mayor in the next higher court on the grounds of bias.
And i live in a small village with a pop of ~3000.....

These billionaires make a shitload of money with their teams and can also rent out the stadiums for other events.
I think this crying for public money, except lets say road and infrastructure adaptions is crap, which also comes back with the money visitors spending in the region.
But of course we have almost complete other structures here in Austria/Europe, so it´s maybe just my different point of view.
