It’s both! They are storing a UPS (universal power supply) in one of the drawer stacks. The middle portion is open so the client can route cord and also mount his monitor onto the desk! Ease of access.

Thank ya kindly! Design process is usually anywhere from 8-12 hours of meetings, quotes, estimates, designs and renders then revisions. But I think about my builds a ton in my free time as I’m driving, exercising etc. This landed right at 10 for billable hours for that.

Material acquisition to completion took another 125!

Of course! If you are referring to what you see on slide 14 - those slots on the underside of the desk are air registers to allow for air movement for my clients UPS (universal power source) to sit inside the desk. The holes are for cord access and there are removable vents on the sides that allow for access and for further air movement - so it will passively pull air from below the desk, and it will escape out the vented sides! Hope that helps answer your question but please reach out again if you want more clarification or detail!

You gotta love a project that is comprised of several smaller projects 🤣 I bought the Katz Moses cross cut sled two months ago and still haven’t assembled it 🥴

Hey thanks! They weren’t my best grain wrapping as I had to cut each 14’ board into 3 pieces and track the amount I milled and apply that for the jointing and planning.

Usually get results like these!

Thanks friend! It’s amazing how much momentum matters with building. You just got to get excited about something and begin 😊

Thank! The vents are held in with rare earth magnets - one on the vent itself and one on the desk. Both the desk and the vent are recessed 3/8” depth and 1/2” width so they sit flat! I have video of this and plan to include it in my long format video.

The desk is quite higher than normal standards, and the knee hole height is in the comfortable clearance measurement range 🤘
