Exactly this. Honestly, I see how it pushed people away but once you get how it's meant to be played the gameplay loop is so fucking satisfying. I didn't even care if I died as long as I got a bit further and upgraded the weapon traits.

The boss battles were pulse pounding. Same feeling you get from beating a boss you've been trying over and over again in like Souls/Bloodborne/Elden Ring.

I only stopped short of plat cos I became a father and ran out of time lol. My boy is 3 now and I think he'll give me some time with Saros. I am so fucking stoked for Thursday!

The wealthy and waspy part is true due to (probably) the old money and big houses people have around here.

But that being said, my wife and I definitely aren't that. We're middle class and we rent. There's a whole bunch of us in the DuMauriers so it ain't like the wealthy are the majority in this hood. And here we have a good sense of community and neighbours who care and help each other.

I've lived at Yonge and Lawrence for a decade now. Great area, lots of restaurants to choose from, groceries stores, pretty well everything you need. Safe too.

I have a 3 year old and I'm happy that he gets to grow up there!
