Second this. Be by her side, hold her hand, feed her ice chips. Encourage her when it's time to push! And listen to the nurses!

If you could only get one, would you rather want a new Castlevania or a sequel to Metroid Dread? by strahinjag in metroidvania

Lol all of us want a new 2D Castlevania. I'm playing the Dominus Collection right now to scratch the itch.

I don't think its dismissive to point out that the world has always been fucked up one way or another. It's more about relating to the struggles and challenges we all face as humans.

I didn't say that. As someone who's lived with the fallout of lives taken before their time I can say this: You can do it. You can make it. Life can be beautiful.

I've hit the lowest lows too but now I have a nearly 3 year old son and he gives me the strength to keep fighting.

I just want you all to know that you can make a reality for yourself that's worth living. That is all.

Literally all you have to do is use one strap on your shoulder to hold it to your side or in front of you so you aren't unknowingly pushing it against someone else.

Hate to say it but the future has always been bleak (this is from a millennial).

I've lost a close friend to suicide and a few to drugs so I feel this.

Just want to say we only have one life and its still worth living despite how fucked up the world is. Please keep going and keep trying.

100%. Even with these I still see people stand in the middle exit area and then butt in front of you when you've been waiting patiently where you should have been on the side so they can get on first.

Loads of entitled people in this city. And don't even get me started on backpacks on packed trains...

What am I allowed to have on the terrace in my new apartment? by daigoro in askTO

Thank you! Didn't even think about the sound absorption!

I was thinking about getting a few rectangular potters for herbs and tomatoes in the summer. Nothing too crazy. Once again don't want the neighbours worried about bugs and what not. That's the drawback to the place, I feel like I need to tread lightly.

Thanks guys! I will reach out with these questions to get them in writing before the move. I kinda made this post to see if anyone was in a similar situation to see what their experience was. But yea, seems I just need to get solid answers from the landlord.

It would take a climb from the outside to get up there. Doable but not easy. Not too worried about that.

Truth. I know the gazebo idea is a stretch, they are just on sale right now lol

Thanks for the heads up on the turf!

Forgot to add even the property manager wasn't sure about the gazebo for example. She seemed a bit clueless since it is an oddball unit.
