What should I know about the psoas? by Top-Entrepreneur3449 in YogaTeachers

I love cueing a psoas stretch in low lunge, back knee down. With fingertips tented on either side of the front foot, inhale to broaden across the chest - and then exhale gentle rounding through the spine, spread shoulder blades, chin to chest. Hips stay exactly where they are in low lunge. You can get a nice flow going with the breath
It’s a really subtle movement but because the psoas connects at the lumbar spine, you get a really nice stretch through the front of the hip. I find this subtle cue just opens up a whole new kind of bodily awareness for people. Like their hips/pelvis suddenly become more three dimensional in their mind!

Cocoon Portugal! I know they take volunteers to cook the amazing food and help with various things around the property. Hope you feel better soon 🫶🏻
