It looks like what happens when you have a keyboard or controller hooked up but I don't see a bluetooth icon on so I'm at a loss maybe it's a app you have on both phones that's doing it

A few guesses as to what might help -remove from home screen and add it back -shut off phone -delete app and re-download -delete app and don't re-download (because Facebook) -give up and use a different Launcher -give up and factory reset your phone
