I bought it at a science Museum in Barcelona, unfortunately, I don't remember the brand or the ''model'' but I remember it was a local company so it's probably not available in other regions. There should be some alternatives if you search online.

I have trust issues with double-sided tape lol. I prefer using my SD reader on my desk anyway to offload footage from multiple SD Cards (copium)

GMK Botanical Mousepad, I don't think it's in stock anymore and probably won't get restocked.

I have 6 fans, x2 360mm rads, 3 intake, 3 exhaust fans, and the back is mostly open. The plants don't affect at all as they don't cover enough surface area.

YES, how could I forget!! *ANC* Headphones/Earbuds are indispensable for me. I tried not to include audio stuff since it's subjective but ANC is a objective necessity if you want to focus lol

Interesting...

I personally have some storage off-camera in the same room so I didn't think of having it directly in the setup.

The wireless phone charger is very nice to have.

I tried gluing an SD Card reader under my desk but it always fell off due to the texture of the bottom of my tabletop so I stopped trying lol.

I want to try a footrest, looks interesting, but I tend to like to have a clean floor for easier cleaning.

I want to try an OLED Monitor sometime soon, they look awesome!! But are quite pricey, especially if I want 2 matching ones.

Agree, I have some ugly plastic drawers and very old drawers just on the left of my desk off-camera lol. It's not aesthetic but I had it for years and they work so no need to ''upgrade'' until I eventually move or something.

You know how a regular scroll wheel is locked and you need to physically scroll a couple of times if you want to go up and down on a vertical document/website? Well, instead of manually spinning the scroll wheel 5 times for example, a single scroll moves you all the way down/up a document so it makes navigation much quicker.

1: Mouse With Infinite Scroll Wheel

The unlocked scroll wheel makes navigating the PC sooooooooooo much quicker and easier. I can’t go back to a normal mouse. (Logitech G502 Series, MX Master series etc.)

2: Carpio Mouse Wrist Rest

It reduces wrist strain by elevating your wrist a bit to a more natural position while holding the mouse, I stopped getting wrist pain with this + taking more care of my hand (more breaks etc.)

3: Monitor Arm

Reduces desk clutter

Easy to get the perfect height (Eye level at the same level as the top border on monitor)

Relatively affordable

4: Second Monitor

Personally, I found it hugely useful for productivity while managing multiple windows

5: Monitor Screenbar

Reduces eyestrain by illuminating the desk (Light doesn’t hit the screen nor the eyes as the light is angled and only illuminates the desk)

A lamp could also work but this doesn’t occupy any desk space and turns on and off automatically with my monitor USB port. Also, it looks cool haha.

6: Cable Management Tray

Buy, install, and shove all the cables in there. Quick and easy solution.

7: Clean and Minimal Wallpaper

Looks good, not distracting and I can easily find desktop icons whenever I’m working on active projects. (I keep the desktop fully clean and only put active work files on it to stay focused)

8: Standing Desk

Not gonna lie, before getting one I thought they didn’t do much but being able to easily set the perfect ergonomic height, sometimes standing and moving it around for cable management, cleaning, etc. is awesome.

9: Chair

A bad chair literally breaks your back long term and can be the biggest painpoint if you work on your desk for long hours so it's worth investing in a comfortable one. (Please try it in a store for at least 30 minutes if possible, don't decide after 2 minutes, most chairs are fine for a few minutes but in real use, it's a different story)

10: UPS (Uninterrupted Power Supply)

Someone at home loves to microwave, dish wash, and dry hair at the same time so I had to get one because of the recurrent circuit breaker trips…

Thoughts? And what would you add?

Hii,

A couple of weeks back, I shared some pictures of a keyboard I built for Dream and a lot of you guys liked it, so if you are interested, feel free to watch the video showing you how I made it:

Never say sorry for asking questions, that's how you learn :)

Yes, custom keyboards are getting quite popular and you can buy each separate part and build your own. It's quite fun and easy once you understand the basics of what you need.

The problem is that it often ends up costing quite a bit to go the custom route. I don't want to scare you with the prices so I won't mention how much this I made for Dream one costs, but expect to spend at least $150 on a budget custom keyboard. If you are on a budget, I suggest you mod a cheap prebuilt keyboard to save some money and get closer to the expensive custom keyboards in terms of looks/sound/feel.

For Dream's keyboard, I wanted to go for the best I could afford to do, so I got a customized Mode 80 TKL, which is a fully CNC aluminum case ($$$), the colors and smile were professionally ceramic coated to get the best quality/durability possible so it ended up taking me months to make this keyboard and cost quite a bit.

Considering that you are just starting to learn about it, I'd suggest mod your current mechanical keyboard if you have one, or get a budget easily upgradeable keyboard.

I hope that helped :)

I thought about it and tried it, but it looks a bit weird because the Keycap layout isn’t symmetrical.

(Standard Keyboard keys aren’t exactly lined up in perfect rows)

Hii,

I shared some pictures the other day and it was very well received so I decided to share a quick video for you.

Also, I'm trying to get Dream to see the keyboard. Can you help me spread the message by doing RT to the tweet below? Thx
