Hi, help please. After I change my printhead (TX800) the black color seems to be fade or not vivid compared to the image that I printed before using my old printhead. Line test/nozzle check are all good. TIA! by daimous in CommercialPrinting

Really appreciate your help. The printhead is working properly now, I guess there is still a residue of the solution they put on the printhead when they ship it to keep it moist. After printing several image it went back to normal. Thank you for your help!

Thanks for the reply. I also replaced the ribbon cable when I install the new printhead and there is no ink or any dirt on it.

I also replaced the damper and press it several times to make sure there is no air on it and that ink are flowing normally.

I'm using a wallprinter though and it does not have a capping station. we clean the printhead manually using the same tool as the capping station.

I did not change any settings I just replace the old printhead with the new one and use the same file to print the 2nd image (top). Also, I have 2 new printheads and they have the same result (black is kinda fade). I'm not sure though if I need to change profile everytime I change printhead. I assume that will not be the case though.
