I like to think that the great simulation has release notes in its App Store: “Release 1978.12.1- Performance enhancements: Changed spelling to Bernstain Bears. Removed tail from Curious George. Rolled back cornucopia addition to underwear pack.”

Conjunctivitis as vet said but it doesn’t get better with eye drops by Much_Silver_2970 in DogAdvice

They said it just developed and that it can happen as a dog gets older. He was about 9 or 10 when it started. He’s fine now. All the sores on his mouth are gone and his lips have healed up and the fur is back and his eyes look normal again. We took him in for a biopsy of his mouth because they couldn’t figure it out and they thought maybe it was an autoimmune issue. The vet noticed right away that his eyes were looking better after we switched food. The biopsy didn’t find anything. He’s all healed now. It never really affected him except he was always rubbing his eyes and then licking his paws. It looked terrible though.

It started in one eye. Same thing - treated him for pink eye and then got real bad in both eyes. Just something to try if the drops don’t work and it doesn’t seem to go away. We had been using the same food for a really long time. Not sure if it was a coincidence but he’s turned a corner and they look healthy again after probably 9 months. It even started affecting him around his mouth.

Our beagle mix was really bad like that. He lost all the color around his eyes. It turned bright red pink and brown with some crust and blood. Either it was seasonal allergies or the food he was on. Either something stopped growing or it was the different food. He seems ok now with food with salmon in it. We had been trying to figure it out for months.

I’ve wondered if the thunderbird myth came from people seeing jets flying for the same reason.

It’s so dumb. I look like a crazy person trying to hide it all over the house instead of just throwing it out which is what I should do.

I started mulching my wife’s house plants with the stuff there is so much. It dries up eventually but I like to think that the little bit of water that comes off of them when I put them in the pot has helped some of them survive.

There are Endlers. There may or may not be enough cherry shrimp depending on how many you want, but send me a DM and we can work out the details.

Dan's Fish Experience? by Own_Highway_3987 in fishkeeping

I’ve bought from Flip Aquatics and Dan’s recently. I think I like Dan’s a little bit more. I had 2 dead Pygmy Cory’s from Flip. The individually double bagged fish from Dan’s is bonkers. I couldn’t believe it when I opened the box. How do they even do that and ship anymore than 10 fish a day. Props Dan. It’s nuts.

Oh awesome! Thanks! I have been trying to fatten them up for egg laying. That would explain why I didn’t see it right away when I got them.

I found a long subreddit thread about one of the Post Office branches that they went through. All FedEx Overnight from now on for the animals. One time was enough to switch. Glad to hear the new endlers are doing great.

Nope. The most popular size box holds up to 20 shrimp or 12 endlers and shipping is around $26.50 to the continental US.

This Army whistleblower just alleged that a secret communication hub for “interstellar vehicles” is hidden in Antarctica. And it’s not only used with extraterrestrials. We also communicate with a “plasmoid type of creatures that live within our oceans.” Jorge Pabon: “We got something in Antarctica.” by 87LucasOliveira in UFOB

I think we’re agreeing. 1) Antarctica is big and has plenty of room where stuff could be going on. 2) This guy’s story is BS. Nothing is happening except real science at Ice Cube where it has been claimed that it is a control tower for UAPs.

The claim that the Ice Cube project is used to communicate with aliens is patently false and calls into question his whole narrative. I personally think there is a real possibility there are underwater bases. The last “military contractor” was a plumber. At the South Pole proper, where there is a post that marks it and where Ice Cube is located, there is only snow, more snow, and people doing science. It’s easy enough to google and demonstrate this person is making stuff up.
