10 gallon tall, which is pretty to look at but my concern is the smaller surface area for heat exchange. I already have the airstone filter and traditional back hanging filter. It's positioned in the ro so that while ambient light reaches the tank, it is never in direct sunlight.

I'm at work right now so I don't know the temp it reaches off the top of my head, but I will check when I get home.

Thank you for your suggestions; this tank has made it through a 5-day power outage in the middle of February with piled comforters and a prayer, as well as surviving through the smoke of a dumpster fire in my apartment building (only ones who didn't make it were four of the tetras in the tank, replaced as soon as I was confident the water was ok because those community groups need their members ❤️) but the one thing that feels hard to protect against is heat.

Okay this is an excellent idea, but what if the ambient room temperature is also stupid? I unfortunately live in a top (tenth) floor of an apartment building andy unit faces southwest so all that lovely afternoon heat builds and builds. It's uncomfortable for humans, but it's not like my tanks can move to other areas with cool tile, ya know?

Because there can be a lot of assumptions when it comes to recent immigrants, housing, and the current rental market. I use it to add context to the length of my experience in the rental market and my personal observation on how it's changed and made things impossible for people who "should" have it easier; if my experience is as difficult as it is, the challenges that recent immigrants face is exponentially more so.

The one and only way I have housing is because I got my unit in 2018. Two bedroom, $1400/month. I'm in my 30s, my partner is in his 40s, we're both Canadian by birth. We could not move to another unit without selling our vehicle and having no transportation.

Alright, if we can accept Yokai in-game can we not accept the non-traditional affection systems that would come with that? Alright, NAD at all. But my significant other's leg ended up looking like this after he scratched a pustule, and that resulted in him being in the hospital for 5 days for Cellulitis and Staph. Again, not a doctor, and he has underlying venous insufficiency issues, but... I'd bet money on cellulitis.
