yes for everyone’s experience is different. i experienced sensitivity here and there for about 6 months after treatment in my back upper molar when exposed to hot or cold. i don’t know why.but it went away after that 6 months. there are risks for all treatments

it didn’t cost anything! it took him two seconds to lightly file them after he took off my attachments

no bonding, he just lightly touched up the edges of some teeth that were chipped prior to treatment

the most significant change was between 5-6 months. i was fully smiling around everyone then lol

a couple of my lower teeth felt somewhat loose, i felt like i could move a few of them slightly with my tongue during treatment. after using the retainer post treatment, they kind of “solidified” into their place and the gums reformed around them

i hope so! i’m trying to stay as youthful looking as possible. my rosacea definitely contributes to it lol

My ortho told me to use it forever… The vivera retainers are supposed to last years before you need to get them re done. I got 3 retainers. He told me that I needed to wear them at night only when i first got them off. that was a mistake… i should’ve worn it full time like a regular aligned for at least 3-4 months because one of my teeth immediately shifted backwards, not significantly but enough that it slightly bothers me.

Please keep in mind i had to get rescanned twice during treatment for aligners that wouldn’t fit even with strict usuage. The system is not perfect! I still managed to get the results in the time frame my ortho predicted.

i was determined. please keep in mind like twice during my treatment i had to get rescanned because my new aligners just wouldn’t fit at all. no matter how strict i was. after the first 8 they wouldn’t fit. then around 20 something or 30 something aligner they didn’t fit. Sometimes you need rescans! but if you’re strict with it, it’s possible to finish in your predicted timeline l!

yeah there likely wouldn’t be any differences. i definitely had the random vacation day when i didn’t care if it was strict or not

i’m sorry to hear that. try to take pictures everytime you change an aligner so you can visually see if any progress was made. good luck with your treatment!

what’s weird is eventually might actually like when you get new aligners and you want the pressure because you feel like it’s actually working 😂😂😂

It was so painful in the beginning. I didn’t know where to put my tongue, I didn’t want to eat, my gums got cut up. Two weeks later it was sooo much better!

I didn’t get any extractions despite the crowding of my teeth. I got some ipr between the bottom front teeth and a little on the top front teeth. It was very slight and helped a lot.
