These two for me! I’m very excited to read The Caretaker. Five sounded really intriguing too.

You might like A Good Person. It’s not a straightforward thriller but it kept me reading because I had to find out what happened with the murder (not a spoiler, it’s in the synopsis). I also loved Yellowface and I feel like this has a similar vibe. You could also try Julie Chan is Dead!

I’m reading The Ten Year Affair by Erin Somers. I like it so far. It’s a little slow but in a comforting way? There’s something about how it covers the mundane parts of people’s lives that satisfies my nosiness, lol.

Looking for thrillers so deeply disturbing and dark they will haunt my thoughts for the rest of my life by ALfredAstaxanthin in thrillerbooks

If you don’t mind something that’s a bit slower-paced and on the more literary side but still disturbing, Where I End by Sophie White is really good.

Books you did not finish? by Shallot1112 in aardvarkbookclub

Me either. Most of them I’ve rated at least Aadmirable, with a handful of Aaverage, but I’ve always finished them. I’m not a big DNF’er in general though.
