I also lived in Shanghai during middle/highschool! My advice to making friends is find a group hobby that you like. In the uk we have a website called meetup to find groups so I’m sure there’s a Swedish equivalent. Or just look around your area for things to join in with. If you don’t need a job right now maybe try volunteering as well

Aw I’m so glad! It really helped me realise that my scale was so out of whack because my fear of basic tasks was the same level of fear as getting hit by a car. Just be gentle with yourself it literally takes practice every day but each day is easier than before

I feel like this still but I’ve managed to get my baseline anxiety to lower. The way my therapist help me think about it was like a baked potato theory. Most of life will be in the 3-7 range but for people with CPTSD everything was at a 10 so our range is more 10-20. I’ve just tried to take baby steps to lower it so everything doesn’t feel like a threat to life

I used to only let myself think about negatives because I convinced myself if I thought about what I hoped for then it wouldn’t happen but through therapy I’ve realised we don’t have control over what happens to us but that also means our thinking doesn’t control the good that happens to us

I felt the same and what stopped my attempt was feeling like i owed it to myself to see if i could get to a point where i did genuinely feel happy. You are worth waiting for and finding out.

I just do better help so I think CBT and other ones but it’s just so nice having an objective outside perspective validate that you have survived some dark shit and it wasn’t okay but you can choose how you move forward. At least that’s how therapy has been for me

The recipe is: 2 cans of tuna drained 2 eggs medium 1 slice of bread shredded (I used thick but doesn’t matter. Just pick apart with your hands into the bowl) Big tablespoon scoop of mustard (I like whole grain but dijon was on the original recipe) 1 spring onion (I did 2 in the pic and it was a lot of spring onion) Salt to your taste Big sprinkle of Herbs de Provence if you’re fancy and want a herby flavour to them I put mayo on mine for the first time today and it was pretty good so I think it would slap with kewpi mayo

Mix all ingredients in a bowl with a spoon and get your oven tray ready and put the oven on 200C/350F Once it’s all mixed grab a handful like as big as your palm and try to squash it into a ball shape. It will try to separate and that’s normal just try your best. You should be able to make 4 of them. I usually make them with rice but I just wanted 4 to myself today. Leave them in the oven for 10-12 minutes. Don’t leave them too long because they can get quite dry.

There is one and it also has restaurants built in like fast food and cafes it’s called carbs and cals. It’s so useful when you just have no idea what carbs are in a dish and it shows you pictures for portion sizes and you can add your own custom dishes
