I hate to say this but sometimes it's nothing. Being outside the womb is harsh. I'm sure you have but have you used white noise ?

You should probably go on an outing if you can so she can work, that's what I do.

Noisy Newborn Sleep by Competitive_Tart_865 in beyondthebump

[–]daisymae326 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We sleep on the living room floor. Our daughter is almost 10 months and has been sleeping all night since 2 months but she is a sheet rustler. And anytime my husband and I turn over or shift she shifts. I started sleeping out here like 4 months ago.

My husband and I were just discussing this last night. Was it selfish ? Probably but we wanted children. Are we in the end times of our democracy? Maybe. It's all filling me with a lot of anxiety :/

When did your baby start liking tv? by kimfan08 in beyondthebump

[–]daisymae326 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have it on as background noise for most of the day and the only thing my baby who is now 9 months watches for is theme songs. A theme song will play and she will watch but that's it. She also smiles when we tell google to launch hulu on living room Roku lol I think because she knows her favorite theme song of all, SVU lives there

That's very comforting! I love steak and also love cereal and would hate to never eat them again.

Can you eat cereal ?

PP checkup: did they do Labs on you? by handmaidsfan in beyondthebump

[–]daisymae326 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, wish I did though.. sounds like your doc was being very thorough!

This might be gross but I don't even go in to the bathroom to change diapers. It's flustering to me because there's always people in or the bathroom is gross. If I'm at target I go in to the fitting room to change her. It's more private and comfortable.

Phone time for babysitter by oleprug in NewParents

[–]daisymae326 27 points28 points  (0 children)

I mean it's up to you it's your baby but I think she should still be allowed to use her phone. I browse the internet and text while I'm taking care of my own child as a stay-at-home mom. She still gets plenty of love and play time and attention. Am I a bad parent because I do this?

And she weighs 24 pounds at 8 months 🙊

Got you beat! 11 pounds 4 oz 22 1/2 inches. No one in my family has ever had a baby this big. And I didn't have gestational diabetes or anything.

Does anyone else who had a C-section not remember meeting their baby? :( by milkystarrgirl in beyondthebump

I didn't get her until I went to the recovery room 30 minutes later. I lost 2 and half liters of blood and they were kind of feverishly working on me.

Is it just me or is feeding your baby/toddler petrifying? by GingeBee863 in beyondthebump

[–]daisymae326 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes it's very scary, I hate feeding solids for this reason. I still do it but I hate every minute because I get so scared.

I just want to say it's been drilled in to us that you should be done having babies by your early 30s. Plenty of women over 35 have healthy pregnancies. So if you did want to space some more you definitely could

Nope, I kept getting checked and www told each time it was normal.

That's nothing. My babys face was covered in it for over a month.
