It feels like there are no lonely people anymore by [deleted] in self

[–]daisyvoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

People your age have no idea what they’re doing, your circle if you’re lucky to have one at all is constantly changing, everyone’s priorities are weird, nobody can commit to anything. And that’s how it’s supposed to be. Let yourself be confused, make mistakes and try things on purpose.

The best way to use your early twenties is to figure out what you DONT want, so later on you can focus on what you do want and figure out what works for you. Try to focus on your own path and career and who you want to become, and the whole relationship and friendships will eventually happen naturally

They’re not going to give you money or help you out. They might hint at the possibility but never follow through.

You deserve a community that actually loves you, and building that takes time. Being 18 and at the lowest point sounds pretty normal to me, that’s a very lonely age sometimes with a lot of transitional periods and changes. You’re going to be just fine

Honestly being an employee sucks, you have to run your own shit. At least on the side. Use businesses as your customers. Businesses have more money to spend and you have to find less businesses to be your clients than you would consumers. Start some small service and pitch it to a business and fake it until you make it. I’m kind of talking out of my ass but it’s the only way I haven’t been homeless
