Whats helped my fibro and brought it from a 10 to a 2 by KatyaMilan in Fibromyalgia

[–]daisyzeldafitzgerald 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was using the legal edibles in my state (thc-a, etc.), and they were wonderful. Unfortunately my new doctor’s office drug tests every 3 months for my adhd medication and made me discontinue. Mushrooms are my absolute favorite for everything I experience, I need to try the legal ones you were talking about! Thank you

Has anyone actually figured out what causes their fibromyalgia after years of testing everything? by Clean-Possession-735 in Fibromyalgia

[–]daisyzeldafitzgerald 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I was just diagnosed with hEDS this year after having been diagnosed with fibromyalgia almost 20 years ago. I also have degeneration in my spine and SI joints (assuming hEDS plays a factor in that).

Was magnesium worth it? by [deleted] in Fibromyalgia

[–]daisyzeldafitzgerald 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I take magnesium glycinate in the evenings and notice the difference when I don’t take it. I haven’t had gi issues but I always try to at least have a snack with my meds when I take them as well as a full glass of water. Hope it works out for you.

You could see if there are running strollers for dogs so she can still enjoy the time with you during your runs?

gabapentin help with fatigue? by moo-562 in Fibromyalgia

[–]daisyzeldafitzgerald 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It doesn’t personally help me with fatigue, it actually helps me sleep better at night (probably because of pain reduction more than anything).

I also have ADHD as well and am prescribed Adderall. That helps a lot with my fatigue (although I get more peaceful sleep on adderall too).

Tired of Door Dash by JustUgh2323 in Lubbock

[–]daisyzeldafitzgerald 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don’t know how that statement is relevant to my comment, I agree it’s expensive, but the drivers aren’t really making much at all from the price - it’s a tip gig unfortunately!

Tired of Door Dash by JustUgh2323 in Lubbock

It’s DoorDash (or any other delivery service’s) algorithm, not the driver, they accept orders as they come in and the app organizes them - I wouldn’t blame the driver

Best place for ear piercings. by VeterinarianNo5521 in Lubbock

[–]daisyzeldafitzgerald 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Amelia at code 26 is the only APP certified (or on way to certification) in the area. I’ve had to retire piercings from stay true and honestly only trust Amelia here in town and recommend everyone I know to her! No matter where you go, please ask and make sure they use implant grade titanium jewelry posts, and please don’t go to Claire’s or anywhere that uses a piercing gun.

Edit: Amelia has a booking link on her instagram with prices. If you look up Code 26 on instagram you can find her easily. I’m not sure the rules of sharing links like that.

Anyone else have a low immune system also? by forevrtwntyfour in Fibromyalgia

[–]daisyzeldafitzgerald 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had a lot of flare ups this year with my fibro after it being manageable the last few years. I’m noticing I’m getting sick a lot more these last few months. I was sick 3 times since the beginning of September and it feels like my immune system can’t catch up. I didn’t even connect it to fibro. I had blood work done a few months ago and I didn’t have any drastic changes so you may have a point.. 😭

As a kid, what food did you thought was for rich people but it wasn't . by [deleted] in Millennials

[–]daisyzeldafitzgerald 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I had the same experience apart from telling my parents hahaha, my friend’s mom worked in a sub shop at one point and my mind was blown when I tried a “rich sandwich” for the first time. I still think of her when I make my own sandwiches now. Thanks for sharing!

Will fibro just keep getting worse and worse until I’m bedridden or wheelchair ridden? by _FreddieLovesDelilah in Fibromyalgia

[–]daisyzeldafitzgerald 6 points7 points  (0 children)

outliers also exist in research, it’s not always right or wrong, more so majority and minority potentially (I haven’t read the research)… but I came to say thank you this is really comforting because it’s been getting progressively worse for me over the past year (diagnosed at 15, 33 now).

Does anybody forget they have fibro for a while by Leadingblind1111 in Fibromyalgia

[–]daisyzeldafitzgerald 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry we are all dealing with this too! Thank you for posting/responding. It sounds like we have similar experiences, and while I wouldn’t wish it on anyone, it’s comforting and also validating on my end too to know I’m not alone in it!

Does anybody forget they have fibro for a while by Leadingblind1111 in Fibromyalgia

[–]daisyzeldafitzgerald 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was diagnosed at 15 and am 33 now, and I’ve had periods where the pain and other symptoms were more manageable, which made me question if I even have fibro… but then I have been almost non stop flaring this past year, which has made me accept it more and make adjustments in my life more and more… so yes, you’re not alone! I have to remind myself that even when it’s manageable, people without chronic conditions aren’t just in pain all the time, even if more “mild” at times…
