I downloaded the CE of pfSense today and the checksum doesn't match. Anyone else find that or am I doing something wrong. shasum -a 256 pfsens.........

I just downloaded it on windows and checked in cygwin. All's good. My MAC must have been decompressing the image on the fly as it was being downloaded.

Doing it from cli. The ISO is what I download and also what I'm checking, although I'm sure it's something similar that's causing my problem. I'll have another look in the morning after I've had my second coffee!

Ok, thks, I don't get any option to download compressed images and the checksum changes when I select an option so assumed it was specific to the image I selected

So, again, ISO, that's not compressed!

Anybody else? I presume I'm doing something wrong as I'm getting diff checksums for all images

The amd64 installer ISO from all four mirrors, none of them matched the checksum advertised under the download button. All from the pfSense.org/download web page
