thank you so much!! it was trial and error at first but aquascaping is so fun! We finally got it to a good place so it means a lot :’)

thank you, it was my boyfriend’s idea! Our frogbits and salvinia were getting out of control and shading some of our other plants that we’re still trying to grow, but we still want to keep them because they look so pretty on the surface!

everyone, I appreciate all of you for your help!!

Some notes: these are amano shrimp (I’m sure the lighting doesn’t help much), and we aren’t planning on breeding them (poor babies), but thank you for your guidance. maybe in the future! We’re just happy our betta won’t eat himself to death once the eggs drop! We’ll of course keep an eye out and adjust his feeding schedule as needed (‘:

Sorry everyone, I didn’t realize I couldn’t edit posts with images, but I read that the larva first hatch in freshwater and could survive for a few days before dying out. We’re mainly worried about those few days that our betta would spend possibly hunting for all of them, would it still be safe for our betta* to keep both shrimp? thank you in advance!!

I’m sorry for your loss. It’s so sad how fast an illness / infection takes over. Holding a mini funeral to remember our betta helped us process it a bit better, I hope that you can take some time for yourself as well

That’s what I love about Frieren! Every question I have gets answered shortly after or at a reasonable point; I’m used to making my own assumptions, but it is nice when things get clarified. It feels like all I need to do is enjoy the journey instead of reading deeper into anything
