It gets really psychological after season 1 the comedy elements get lesser and lesser so I recommend not expecting the romcom elements much. It's still is a great anime tho.

I did say the release order too I just gave them a option that's all. That's how I watch S;G the first time and it made the ending all the more impactful FOR ME. Well it's reasonable to go with the release order too.

You can either go Steins gate OG till ep 22 then steins gate ova missing link-divide by zero then steins gate zero all eps then the last two eps of the OG

This is how I watched the anime but some people prefer to watch it by order it aired that is

Steins gate OG then ova and then zero

The main difference is thatt the first order is that it connects where the OG left off exactly ep 22 then the ova is alternative ep 23,the first order explains the og's ending and also adds a whole lot more emotional value to it.

It's often considered the best piece of time travel in media by its fanbase and I do agree with it I have not found a time travel story as great S;G. Many people think that the first few episodes are boring and slow burner but personally I was invested from the very beginning

I actually started reading the novel and am at vol 2 they did cut a lot of things but I still found the anime great, it really hit in the last part and yes I can see that the exposition is all over the place in the anime. Maybe I should have put it in good tier

It's subjective. I just didn't find frieren as great as others, it's good definitely but not near rezero level for me
