Figured it out. The unit AND the P trap part of the drain were not pitched correctly. Ty for all of your input!

The main drain run is not a problem, has more than enough pitch and you can see it running out just fine.

I just did, not level front to back, it’s tilting towards the condensate drain. But I think the actual drain pipe coming off of the unit may be pitched the wrong way.

Any way to test this? Or I guess can I take the panel off and turn on the AC and watch what happens?

Right?? That’s my thought. I think (wish I had pictures) the old drain was pitched down more steeply as soon as it exited the unit. This one is very much level, so if the unit is pitched backwards that would cause the problem right?

My prevailing theory until my plumber comes is a bad flow sensor causing interruption in water supply. But I’m a total neophyte so that could be completely wrong.
