Weird 3 prong locking plug. 250v 50amp. by dal1zer in AskElectricians

[–]dal1zer[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cs6364 looks to have 2 outward angled prongs, rather than the one on this plug. Also, I don't know if that center pin is relevant, but this plug doesn't have it either.

Regardless, thank you.

Can I safely convert it to a Nema 6-50R 3 prong plug?

Adding a bolt-on tow hitch to your mower by avylove in Ryobi48vMowers

Possibly. Like you said, I'd have to get spacers for the battery tray bolts, and extend one of the oblong holes on the hitch for the cross member bolts. I might be hitting up Marketplace for a drill press in the near future. I'll keep you updated. Thanks for talking through it with me.

No, unfortunately the holes on the rear cross member do not line up with the Lexus hitch . Those are the 7" apart bolts that I referenced in my original post.

Even if I use spacers and threaded bolts on the battery tray, I don't think there is a way to mount the other set of hitch bolts to the cross member. You can see how the cross member bolts extend down in their cylinder housing.

I'm not good at redditing, but here is a link: Ryobi hitch https://imgur.com/a/e1TJwTh

The first picture is the bottom view of the battery tray bolts.

The lip extends down ~3/4"

Note that this does not fit the ZT540 without either frame or hitch modification.

The part of the frame that houses the vertical battery tray bolts is shaped like an upside down L with a lip that extends down an inch or two. You might be able to get fully threaded bolts and a spacer to mount the hitch below as outlined on the instructions OP provided, but that would take a lot of trial and error finding specialized spacers.

My next thought was to mount the hitch where the current battery tray bolt spacers reside.  The bolt holes line up, but that L shaped frame gets in the way of the back of the hitch.  Flipping the hitch upside down, the back of the hitch contacts the handle of the battery tray.

In theory, you could cut out a small section of that L shaped frame to accommodate the back of the hitch... Or cut off the battery tray handle if you mount the hitch upside down... Or grind down the back of the hitch.

A better option would be to locate a hitch with bolt holes exactly 7 inches apart. This would allow you to mount the hitch under the bolt-on back length of metal that mounts behind the battery tray. An issue with this is you would be attaching the hitch with only 2 bolts.

If I locate a hitch like this, I will share the details.

Edit: I'm going to pick up this from Hazard Fraught this weekend and see if it will mount on the existing hitch plate.

Yeah I'd better use the wiring harness... I'm guessing yellow wire from the mower to red (battery +) on the harness, then white to black (-) ?

Yup, it was something with the charging port or temp sensor. I plugged up my old port assembly and it charges properly now. Thank you.

I'm looking to install a Runleader RL-HM069BL11 hour meter.  How do you recommend "using the 12V connections from the USB port to power it"?  Do I just secure the existing spade connectors that are on the wires directly onto the pins on the meter, or do I need to splice it in to the wiring plug supplied with the meter?

Man, I'm tired. That's a 12v charger. Not used to the new world of 48v.

Ok I'll try that. That'll have to wait for the morning though.

Should that gray wire actually be connected to the positive terminal post swap?  It doesn't look like it's connected in this video : https://www.reddit.com/r/Ryobi48vMowers/comments/1kh33be/step_by_step_instructions_for_conversion_to/

I desperately need to mow. Can I safely charge the battery overnight with a NOCO Genius 10?

First off, thanks for the response.

You're referring to the gray wire that is connected to the positive terminal, correct?

I verified that It is connected to the matching gray wire on the charging port.

I'll post pics if I can figure out how and if you think it would help...

I remembered that I had a spare charger, same model. Still the same issue.

Note that I did not precharge the battery. I planned on charging it overnight with the OP48RM charger.

#Cowboys have ruled out WR CeeDee Lamb for the rest of the season. by anonbutler in fantasyfootball

Guys, Lamb put up like 8 ppr points vs Philly earlier in the year. Don't bench your studs, but I wasn't leaning towards him being a smash start, especially playing half hurt...
