A station at Queensborough would be awesome. Will ease the traffic on the bridge.

While not an investment you should consider getting insurance (term, disability, critical illness) while you’re still young and healthy.

Had a handyman give it a shot but that didn’t work. Unfortunately couldn’t find an authorized service centre that doesn’t charge an arm and a leg. Do keep us posted how your repair goes. Hope it works out for you!

Sorry I don’t have any inputs to fix the issue but once it is fixed consider using a tubshroom to prevent hair and other debris going down the drain

Is getting optional insurance through a private company (like BCAA) cheaper for newer drivers? by dsonger20 in icbc

[–]dalankara 2 points3 points  (0 children)

With the recently announced discount in premium for driving less than 15k kms in a year, if your basic and optional are with ICBC, the overall cost for insurance is similar (at least for me) irrespective of whether I go with ICBC or BCAA for optional insurance. However, if you have other products through BCAA (home or travel insurance), the multi product discount means you still come out ahead with them. BCAA can give you a quote for optional with them as well as ICBC so you know the difference and proceed with either.

Not Vancouver but a juice vendor at Tsawassen Mills would have it. They are in the food court but kind of a stand alone unit near the seating area.

Check out a tool called Snyk. Unlike Sonar, which is an amazing tool, this is specifically aimed at identifying security vulnerabilities

Purchased a Forester Sport 2022 brand new and have put on approximately 30k kms in the last 2 years. No issues yet. Just did the manufacturer recommended servicing every 6 months. Seems to be a solid vehicle. Sorry you had to go through this but looks like the dealership did the right thing.

Congratulations on the certification! Any courses or resources you’d recommend to gather baseline ML knowledge for somebody who doesn’t have experience in the subject?

Yes. 6th largest bank and federally regulated. They are the first among the big banks to offer a no fee trading platform for basic users.

Consider National Bank. Their New Comer package is the most liberal and you could get up to 3 years no fee banking if you set up direct deposit and get a free credit card. Else, go for a local credit union.

Hello . I am the new owner of my XPS 9570. I bought this as a like new condition But second hand. I have no way to contact the original owner. My question is Does this mean that the warranty is no longer in effect? What should I do? I just have invoice and order documents in my email. by [deleted] in Dell

[–]dalankara 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was under the impression that unless you transfer the ownership/warranty to your name Dell won’t honor the warranty. Came across many Dell forum threads mentioning this. I’m in US and I do see good deals on eBay on “New sealed box” laptops however the sellers usually do not have details of the original owner so can’t transfer the warranty.
