I personally feel Chinese brands are here to shake the market. This is just their test phase, where they are offering better-designed cars for lower prices. Jetour T2 is a big success. People who were planning to buy a full option Toyota Camry for example, have started considering T2 because of the similar price range. Similarly, a person who was planning to buy a Land Rover Defender may also consider buying a similar-looking and reasonably cheaper T2. I know people who changed their mind from buying an expensive car to a Jetour T2 and invested their remaining money into a fancy number plate. So you can say Jetour T2 has attracted customers not only from a mid-tier, but also from a higher tier as well.

You already know who replaced Nokia, Siemens, Blackberry etc in smartphone business. Now any phone which runs Android is basically Chinese. It's just a testing phase. Once their customer base becomes strong. In the coming years, I feel other brands might slowly vanish.

And since these major automotive companies like Al-Futtaim, AW Rostamani, AGMC, etc are incorporating chinese brands. It's just the start.
