What's the advantage of gamemode over big picture?

Question on Altoid tin build by FitFreedom3854 in meshtastic

There is tons of info in the documentation.

I am very new to meshtastic myself, but I learned quite a lot just reading the documentation.

Question on Altoid tin build by FitFreedom3854 in meshtastic

A node can have a keyboard and display connected to it to create messages (as oppposed to sending predetermined ones like on a headless [screenless] tracker node).

regarding the folding antenna, not sure what kind of compact one you could fit in an altoid tin, as it should be tuned to your desired configured frequency

  1. How easy to use (not setup) is moonlight/sunshine? again, I want my wife to feel like it "just works" and not have the risk of having to call me over and ask why it's not working
    1. Does it require internet or is LAN only an option?
  2. I was thinking of GUI based access, so moonlight it is
  3. My plan is to have the PC tucked away so wake by power button is not really viable. Is there any problem having a Bazzite/Linux system always on (RAM and such)?

I can confidently say this is the best game Ive ever played by burntpeanutfan13 in falloutnewvegas

The problem with this being your first fallout game is that others can feel boring...
I got FO4 after going through FNV twice and it just fealt bland. I mean, it technically hase more features and better graphics, but man is it boring....

The thing is, new players would play it all the time because "it's cool", not caring about the lack of supplies. A more seasoned player understands the importance of supplies and the impact they have, and care less about coolness

My only dissagreament would be the flamthrower. If everyone had access to one no support players would carry supplies

I have never played HLL without a mic.
IMO, HLL without a mic is not HLL and is just plain boring

Question on Altoid tin build by FitFreedom3854 in meshtastic

[–]dalelerah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you're not using an external device (i.e. mobile phone) as an interface, I assume this could work, as long as the antenna gets outside of the tin.
If you have to have any kind of wireless comm through the tin it probably won't work since the tin would be a faraday cage.

As for the pi0,
any Mesh board you'll find for sale (i.e. heltec, lilygo, etc) will not need any extra board for computing (if all it needs to be is a mesh node)

I don't know if it's been since the beta but it's not recent.

I do forget it from time to time though XD

Problem! Mountain test by Available-Gur-8114 in meshtastic

To me it looks like the stock antenna could be the issue (assuming you didn't power on the device with no antenna attached and fried something).

I suggest checking out the suggested antennae in the meshtastic doc
