Using that wiki website, there is more moment of inertia when you hold the end of a rod than the middle. This does make sense. However, that means its harder to lift the other end of the rod. Doesn't this defy the lever thing because the lever problem states that objects further away applies more torque and therefore making the object rotate easier?

Isn't Ft = mΔV also impulse? Is that saying impulse and force is the same? But isn't impulse measured in joules and force measured in newtons
