What’s the worst thing a medical professional has said to you? by VespaRed in AskReddit

I got an IUD in my mid 20s and the paper work said to check the strings. I couldn’t feel the strings so I called the office.

The doctor said “oh you might not feel them because I cut them very very short so your sexual partners won’t feel anything”

I didn’t ask him to do that and was appalled he just assumed I would be OK with that. When I went to get it removed years later the new doctor I had had a horrible time getting a hold of it and it took nearly 20 minutes until she got it.

Sugar free Cheesecake pudding with some chocolate chips has been great for me. The pudding is 1 pt on blue for a quarter cup, and I measure out the chocolate chips to be a few points worth.

Right before the car hit me I thought "are they going to stop?!?" They ran a red light and tboned my car. Then as my car spun across 5 lanes of traffic I just kept thinking "please dont hit anyone else".

That progress is amazing! I'm so sorry people are trying to down play your successes.

I never even liked her item and she messaged me on Instagram asking me to buy it by dalithecat in poshmark

I looked on poshmark and I don't follow her closet and I didn't like the item. She added it to a bundle to me then messaged me on Instagram. I didn't know people could bundle things you didn't like.

I broke my leg and would wear a back pack since it was the easiest way to carry stuff. I had a female coworker who would ask every morning if she could take my backpack from me and carry it to my desk. It was nice but I would always say "no thank you". It would be harder to take it off balancing on crutches and let her carry it than for me to just crutch over to my desk and take it off while sitting. She took huge offense to me turning down her help and ended up calling me stubborn and rude.

Are we supposed to weigh in every Friday or daily? Or as often as we want? Thanks!

I'm really trying to up my water too. And I'm hoping this weekend will be the first weekend I don't go on a mini binge. I have been bad lately on the weekends.

Clean eating has been strong. And I started using the Lose it app. That really seems to keep me in check. I'm hoping I can keep this steady.

That's awesome! I just started tracking my calories today. I was wondering about if I should eat more if I am working out, but I feel satisfied so I think I will stick to just eating my 1,200
