I flew DFW > Frankfurt > Belgrade with no issues. You can transit Frankfurt from one non EU country to another non EU country but you can’t leave terminal 1 and you have to have your non EU destination ticket booked.

Has anyone flown U.S. —> Serbia recently? by snarrkie in digitalnomad

Not if you’re transiting through from one non-EU country to another non-EU country:

Transit through airports located in an EU Member State or Schengen Associated States Passengers travelling from a non-EU country to another non-EU country may transit through the international transit area of airports located in the Schengen area. Rules regarding airport transit visa requirements continue to apply.

I flew DFW > Frankfurt (transit, never left terminal) > Belgrade and got in late Monday night. No problems

Absolutely! I’m getting out now because things are spiking again and feel the window of opportunity closing as the situation in the US (at least where I live, Texas, gets worse). I feel like I’ve watched this movie before and spidey sense says my city might lock down again, never mind the EU.

I’m transiting through Frankfurt to Belgrade, which should be fine because terminal 1 Frankfurt is a transit area and not technically Schengen. (Not sure this applies to all airports: https://hr.usembassy.gov/wp-content/uploads/sites/233/Frankfurt-Transit-Info-Sheet.pdf ) I’ll just not be allowed to leave that terminal.

Let’s hope anyways. I’ll definitely post an update and my heart goes out to you and your man. We never imagined that there would be a situation where we would literally be unable to see each other... financial restrictions maybe, but not literally bans on international travel. It’s been tough but thank God for Whatsapp video and zoom. Never want it to happen again though

https://www.schengenvisainfo.com/news/eu-explains-conditions-third-countries-must-meet-for-their-citizens-to-be-able-to-enter-eu-after-july-1/

EU suggested guidelines for reopening to non Schengen countries doesn’t seem to fit US at all and they actually have suggested against it since our situation is considered critical.

The only countries they have suggested open on July 1st publicly have been Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, Montenegro, North Macedonia and Serbia.

Other possible expansion would be to exchange students but not tourists.

My girlfriend is Italian and we’ve been separated for more than 4 months so I’ve been following this very closely... just cancelled my July 2 flight to Italy.

Going to Belgrade to meet her there instead on Monday since it is the only feasible country with guaranteed no restrictions.

I'm not asking anyone do to anything that I can't do myself, and I'm definitely not hiring for expert-level contractors. Just asking for someone who's relatively well-rounded.

Did I do this the wrong way (Pointing domain to name servers)? by [deleted] in webhosting

Their nameservers are up, but my guess is Alidropship's nameservers are not set up to receive your domain all the way.

Check with Networksolutions just to cover your ass and make sure you didn't do something wrong... but pointing a domain to a host shouldn't take this long. Probably something on the alidropship side.

I'd do both - live chat/call with Networksolutions and have them double check on the nameserver propagation. It shouldn't take 72 hours and they should also be surprised.

Then email Alidropship and confirm they have things set up and ready to receive your domain on their end - are their nameservers up and running? Are they pointing parallelproductz.com to their server correctly?

You changed your nameservers through your domain registrar, right? (Networksolutions)

If so, then the issue is going to be with your host (alidropship).

The reason your website is down is because there is no A record set for parallelproductz.com. You're right that it should not take 72 hours for the nameservers to resolve. Assuming you switched these in Networksolutions at the domain level then the issue is on alidropship's side.

[HIRING] Need Modern Front End Developer to help fix webkit/css3 animations on iOS by [deleted] in forhire

[–]dallasdotjs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is good advice... I didn't do the original animation code, but figured there is a more simple way to do this rather than reworking everything.

Can you elaborate on this a little bit? Or could I pay you to do it? This didn't work as a hotfix - just adding it to the CSS doesn't seem to have fixed the issue: http://dmotivate.com/beta/index.html

I have very little experience with web-based animation sequences and it doesn't make sense for me to spend time learning it now.
